Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should be between 21 years and 40 years as on 1 January 2022. They must hold an under-graduation degree from a UGC-affiliated university or institution. A typing speed (Hindi) of 30 words per minute is one of the criteria.

For the General/OBC/EWS category, the application fee is Rs 1,180. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category will have to pay Rs 826.

UPPCL 2022: Selection Process
A candidate will be selected on the basis of his performance in the Computer Based Test and Skill Test. CBT will consist of 4 parts comprising 180 multiple choice objective questions. 0.25 marks will be deducted for a wrong answer. As far as the pattern of examination is concerned, candidates are advised to prepare well for these 4 sections:
- General Studies: This section will comprise 25 questions with 25 marks.
- Logical Knowledge: This section will comprise 45 marks.
- General Hindi (Intermediate Standard): 55 Questions of 55 Marks.
- General English (Intermediate Level): 55 Questions of 55 Marks.
